Next Friday, November 21st is our annual Morgan Mill Thanksgiving Feast. Friday will be a regular school day with dismissal at 1:00. We will serve lunch from 11 to 1. All parents, friends, and family are welcome and encouraged to attend! For those who are new to Morgan Mill, this is a momentous annual event! We feed 800-1000 people in our small gym on this day! 

When parents arrive, you may sign your student out of their classroom and take them with you to the gym to have lunch with you. Our regular lunch schedule will not be followed on this day. Students will eat lunch whenever a family member arrives to sign them out. If your child will not have a family member in attendance, they will eat with a teacher at noon. This meal is free for everyone! Donations are greatly appreciated. 

Soldiers from Fort Hood will also be in attendance. After they eat lunch, they usually head to the playground to push kids on the swings or play a game of football with the kids. This is a favorite tradition of the students, so make sure you hang around for this!

This event will kick off a week of Thanksgiving break, November 24-28. We hope everyone has a safe holiday week! School will resume on Monday, December 1st.
